  • Worsted weight yarn (approximately 200 yards for a single peapod, 400 yards for twin peapods)
  • Crochet hook size H (5.00mm)
  • Yarn needle
  • Scissors

Pattern

Twin Peapod

  1. Ch 100.
  2. Row 1: Sc in each ch across. (100 sc)
  3. Row 2: Hdc in each sc across. (100 hdc)
  4. Row 3: Dc in each hdc across. (100 dc)
  5. Rows 4-10: Repeat Rows 2-3. (100 dc)
  6. Row 11: Sl st in each dc across. (100 sl st)
  7. Fold the peapod in half lengthwise and sew the edges together. (Leaving an opening at the top for the babies.)
  8. (Optional) Tie a ribbon or yarn around the top of the peapod to secure it.

Single Peapod

  1. Ch 50.
  2. Row 1: Sc in each ch across. (50 sc)
  3. Row 2: Hdc in each sc across. (50 hdc)
  4. Row 3: Dc in each hdc across. (50 dc)
  5. Rows 4-8: Repeat Rows 2-3. (50 dc)
  6. Row 9: Sl st in each dc across. (50 sl st)
  7. Fold the peapod in half lengthwise and sew the edges together. (Leaving an opening at the top for the baby.)
  8. (Optional) Tie a ribbon or yarn around the top of the peapod to secure it.
